Back on November 11, I did a post about a friend I was thankful for. I will continue to do posts periodically thanking the many special friends that God has blessed me with. As I said before, this is in no particular order at all... I love all of my friends and family SO much and I don't want anyone to think that you are not special to me! 🙏
Today I am thankful for... Kelley!

I met Kelley in December 2015 when I started at my last job. We quickly got along well and always had a laugh whenever we were walking anywhere together; Kelley is short, and when I had my heels on, there was a large height difference between us. 😂 She has said that they miss my work there, but when she met one of my current co-workers, she was told they can't have me back! 😲 I have never seen Kelley get angry, and that says a lot because she deals with payroll and human resources, and I've heard people ask her A LOT of dumb and repetitive questions. (I know, I know, there are no stupid questions...) She always patiently answered everyone. That really sums up Kelley's personality well- kind and patient.
Even though I have only known her for a few years, she's been an incredibly loyal friend. She has brought meals to me after dad passed, took care of my kitties when I was on vacation and earlier this year took me to the ER at 2am when I was sick. She stayed until I was discharged around 4:30am even though she had a busy day ahead of her. Since she lives close, often she'll come over and we'll just sit and chat while we knit/crochet. Last year on Christmas, she and her husband, Greg, stopped in to hang out for a little bit because they knew it was my first Christmas without dad and didn't want me to be alone. Kelley is very busy - working full time, volunteering with the local girl scouts, and watching her 2 grandsons. I am grateful for the many times she has found the time to spend with me and be there for me. Thank you, Kelley, for your friendship! 🙏
Is there someone that you are grateful for today? Tell them that! Maybe a nice message from you about how much you appreciate them is just what they need to brighten their day. 😊❤🌹
Whatever! (Long story but funny joke) I don't mind the 2am text messages since I'm usually up anyway.
