Today I wore red and black in honor of the 3 Warwick High School students who tragically died in the last month and a half. Two were killed in October when they left school on a Friday afternoon; their car was struck by a woman who had been driving erratically. This past weekend, a student took her life at the high school. Almost every member of the Oehme family graduated from Warwick and these tragedies, especially the one this weekend, feel like they hit close to home. The red in my outfit is my dad's varsity football sweater from when they were the 1967 Lancaster county champions. I also wore my suicide prevention awareness ribbons in my hair that I wore the day of the golf tournament.

Reading the news Monday morning made me so sad. My heart breaks for this young girl's family & friends, for those who found her, and for all of the students who have experienced so much loss. I'm glad to live in such a loving and supportive community.
